Greater Detroit CPCU Chapter Scholarship Winners
Our Chapter is funding a recurring Scholarship for students in Olivet College’s insurance program. This year, there were several submissions that a committee of 3 professors read and ranked to arrive at the best submissions.

MEET UP: Interview With Florence Nagy
Florence was a stay at home mom for 11 years, then started at Burroughs in Detroit as a “Kelly Girl.” When a claims position opened up, her supervisor recommended that Florence try her hand at claims handling. Florence did that, and hasn’t looked back. In fact, she’s always looked forward to the next opportunity to learn and expand her experience in the industry.

2020 Adopt A Family Program
It was the month before Christmas - the Greater Detroit CPCU Chapter Adopted-a-Family with Volunteers of America.
The funds began to trickle in growing day by day. Members old and new giving money and time.
Shoppers volunteered from far and wide. To the west Lansing and White Lake, to the North Macomb Township to the South Grosse Ile.
Tamara the Elf from the South, shopping on behalf others as well as herself. Joe the Elf from the West enlisting the help from his young elfs.
