MCCA Assessment Bulletin - March 2018

The Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association increased their per vehicle rate from $170 to $192 (13% increase) per vehicle effective 7/1/2018.  This will be the highest assessment amount per vehicle in MCCA’s history.

Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association names new executive director

Longtime leader Gloria Freeland to retire in March

 

 

Former state of Michigan treasurer Kevin Clinton has been named executive director of the Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association.

Clinton will replace Gloria Freeland, who is set to retire in March after a 40-year career and serving as executive director for 25 years, the nonprofit announced Wednesday.

Do you know someone who has made significant contributions to Michigan’s insurance and risk management industry? Nominate them for induction into The Michigan Insurance Hall of Fame. Nominations are due by March 15, 2017. Insurance Hall of Fame inductees are recognized for their product/service development, education, recruiting new participants, legislative and regulatory activity, and exemplary service.
