Ross Kadish is founder and President of Associated Risk Management, Inc. in Livonia, MI. Ross has provided insurance –related services to community college Members of the Michigan Community College Risk Management Authority (MCCRMA) since the program’s creation in 1985 and also serves as an administrator of the MCCRMA program and as its principle risk management consultant. In addition, Ross regularly provide risk management training to MCCRMA members and has published and presented on more than 100 risk management and insurance topics.

Dave has spent over 30 years in the insurance business. Dave started his career on the company side with Amerisure Insurance Company as an Account Executive. As Amerisure moved from being a direct writer company to an independent agency company, Dave made the move over to the agency / broker side of the business. During his time on the agency / broker side, Dave has held various positions from Marketing Manager to Commercial Lines Manager. He has earned his CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) and CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor). He has also acted as a consultant and has served as an Expert Witness. Dave is currently employed with Willis of Michigan in Farmington Hills as a Team Leader and Placement Specialist.
Paul A. Anderson, CPCU,

Paul is currently an RVP for Citizens/Hanover Insurance and he has been involved in commercial insurance for 27 years. His background includes experience in both the company and agency/brokerage aspects of the Property-Casualty industry. Paul is also past President of the Greater Detroit Chapter of CPCU and has been an instructor for 20 years.
Adam Kutinsky, JD, CPCU
530 – The Legal Environment of Insurance
Adam is with the law firm Kitch Drutchas Wagner Valitutti & Sherbrook and takes a leadership role in its insurance coverage and commercial litigation practice groups. His focus in on complex insurance coverage disputes as well as property, liability and insurance agent errors & omissions cases. He is a frequent lecturer and author on the subjects of insurance and risk management, having been published in Michigan Lawyers Weekly. Mr. Kutinsky received his J.D. from Wayne State University Law School and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy from Michigan State University. In 2012, the CPCU Society Claims Interest Group named him person of the year at its annual meeting in Washington DC. On October 29, 2012, Mr. Kutinsky was featured on National Public Radio, WDET, The Craig Fahle Show, for a discussion of legal issues related to American cities.
James Mellon, Esq., BA, MA JD, LLM CPCU, ARM

Jim earned his Bachelors, Masters and law degrees from the University of Detroit and his Masters of Laws from Wayne State University. He is a CPCU and ARM. He has taught insurance related courses at Lawrence Technological University, University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and in house for a number of insurance companies for many years. His publications include law review articles on insurance law and No-Fault Guides. He has practice tort and insurance law since 1974.
Don Balmes

Don is an account representative and senior placement P&C broker for the Willis Group. He holds the CPCU and CIC designations. Starting in the insurance business with the Continental Insurance Company in 1978. Since that time has held various positions with Jardine, Marsh, Hylant Group and Willis. He has commercial property and casualty underwriting and broker experience managing a variety of domestic and international insurance coverage and risk management alternative solutions. Don is the current Vice President of the Greater Detroit Chapter, CPCU.

Larry is an account executive at Liberty Mutual Insurance where his primary responsibilities are working with large premium accounts that require in-depth analysis and special service functions. He holds the CPCU and CIC professional designations and graduate degrees in Economics (BS) and Finance (MBA).

Denise is currently VP of Donald K. Pierce & Company, an independent insurance agency, with over 35 years experience in the insurance industry. Denise has an undergraduate degree in Finance as well as a MBA in International Marketing. Denise has served on several committees for CPCU, MAIA and past Chair of MI Future Foundation. Denise has also taught insurance classes at Macomb Community College.
